American Wire Group Opens New Facility in Texas

American Wire Group (AWG), a leading supplier of wires, cables, equipment and accessories for the electric utility and renewable markets, has announced the opening of a third national distribution facility in Katy, Texas.

Strategically located 35 miles west of Houston, the new 205,000 sq. ft. distribution center has easy access to I-10 and SH 99/Grand Parkway. It will be the primary service center for customers in the Central and Southern United States. The facility will bring 30 to 50 new jobs to Katy over the next three years.
