Danish EV Charging Platform Monta Appoints New CRO

Monta, a leading software company in the EV charging industry, has appointed Eleanor O’Neill as its new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). This strategic move comes after Monta’s recent expansion to the US. Eleanor O’Neill brings over 20 years of sales, revenue, engineering, and customer success experience in the Saas industry. She will lead and oversee Monta’s strategy on sales, revenue, marketing, and customer experience, and will report to the CEO, Casper Rasmussen. 

As CRO, Eleanor will be instrumental in scaling operations across Europe and deliver a joined up commercial strategy that ensures exceptional results for Monta’s customers. She will play a crucial role in scaling up Monta’s business. Born in Ireland, Eleanor will be based in Monta’s London office. 

Before joining Monta, Eleanor served as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Ably, a SaaS platform offering a real-time experience platform. Ably, much like Monta, is a highly technical product, providing infrastructure for Edge devices. Eleanor O’Neill brings a wealth of experience at the intersection of various fields core to Monta’s ambition. With a PhD in computer science, and a decade of serving on management teams in tech companies, Eleanor will bring an extensive technical background to the company. Her unique profile mixing engineering, management, and revenue will be a game-changer to bring Monta’s strategy to the next level.

This appointment comes at a moment when Monta just announced its expansion to the US last October, after raising 80M€ at the beginning of 2024.
