Rhythmos Appoints Renewable Energy Leader Stefanie Padgett as Senior Vice President of Business Development
Rhythmos, a leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) and commercial fleet charging, and grid optimization technology, is proud to announce the addition of Stefanie Padgett as Senior Vice President of Business Development. In her new role, Padgett will spearhead Rhythmos’ commercial growth expansion in key industry verticals, including utilities, automotive OEMs, and EV fleets, across North America.
Since 2014, Padgett has been actively involved in the renewable energy transition and comes to Rhythmos with over 20 years of experience in the energy sector. With her extensive knowledge in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and enabling organizations to adapt to the evolving energy landscape, Padgett’s wealth of expertise will help the company continue to accelerate EV adoption and grow its customer base.
“We are thrilled to welcome Stefanie to our leadership team,” said Ken Munson, CEO of Rhythmos. “Her proven track record of successfully leading expansion strategies into new markets, combined with her deep technical foundation and utility acumen, make Stefanie the ideal fit to drive Rhythmos’ commercial growth and market expansion. Her understanding of the evolving utility market enhances our team’s vast industry experience, and we couldn’t be more pleased to have her on board.”
Most recently, Padgett served as Vice President of M&A Integration at Stem, Inc., where she managed the integration of Also Energy. Before that, she led the execution of groundbreaking renewable energy projects at NAES Corporation, the largest operation and maintenance (O&M) provider for traditional power plants. That role involved winning the first-of-its-kind solar, storage, substation, and transmission services contract for the CIM Group Westlands Solar Park, acquiring and integrating Bay4, a solar company, and repurposing fossil fuel power generation labor.
"I am honored to join Rhythmos to continue my journey of accelerating the transition to a clean energy future," said Padgett. "Rhythmos is well-positioned to help its customers succeed in this rapidly evolving intersection of energy and transportation. I’m excited about the opportunity to work with utilities and electric fleets during their transformative phase. Together we have the potential to redefine the future of our grid. Electric vehicles are both a challenge and an opportunity for the reliability of our energy system. Decarbonizing transportation will decrease the world’s carbon emissions by 25 percent and Rhythmos gives us the opportunity to help make this a reality.”
Padgett began her career at ABB, where she built the foundation of her optimization software and utility knowledge. Padgett then moved to First Solar, where she played a crucial role in establishing the company as the leading third-party solar services provider within two years. Later, at Nautilus Solar Energy, Padgett focused on community solar and successfully expanded the market reach and capabilities of the team.
Padgett seeks opportunities to connect with start-ups and passionate individuals working towards climate change solutions. She is a Climate Tech Fellow with the On Deck organization and a member of Women in Cleantech & Sustainability, the professional networking group that sourced the connection with Rhythmos.
