Sineng Electric Powers 200MW/400MWh Energy Storage Project in North-Central China with High-Efficiency Solutions
Sineng Electric, in partnership with CATL, has successfully facilitated the grid connection of a cutting-edge 200MW/400MWh energy storage power station in Ningxia Province, north-central China. Now fully operational, this project plays a crucial role in strengthening grid stability and enhancing energy independence, underscoring Sineng’s leadership in delivering innovative and efficient energy storage solutions.
The energy storage facility, covering approximately 10 acres, utilizes 40 sets of Sineng’s advanced 5MW central PCS MV turnkey station. Each turnkey station is composed of four units of 1250kW central PCS, a low-voltage switchboard, and a pad-mounted transformer. The PCS ensures uninterrupted power supply by seamlessly switching between on-grid and off-grid modes. Its modular design simplifies maintenance and allows for rapid full-unit replacement, significantly minimizing downtime and ensuring long-term operational efficiency.
In addition, with multi-layer protection design, the product can adapt to the challenging climatic conditions of the region, such as wild temperature swings, drought, and sandstorms. The product also features phase-change heat dissipation technology for enhanced thermal management.
Sineng’s 1.25MW central PCS, renowned for its outstanding performance, reliability, and safety, has become a preferred solution across diverse applications. By continuing to push the boundaries of technology and innovation, Sineng is committed to providing solutions that meet the growing demands for sustainable energy, helping to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and contribute to a cleaner, more resilient energy future.
