BIPV modular units for membrane roofs

SolarFrameWorks Co. has launched its newest offering, PowerCurb, to augment its BIPV CoolPly Plus product line for commercial roofs and field applications. The patent-pending PowerCurb modular units nest, stack, and ship economically as a complete solution for PVC, TPO, EPDM, and built-up membrane roofs. The streamlined, labor-saving design provides general contractors, roofing contractors, and electrical contractors a quick and simple installation to perform to a customer’s schedule and budget requirements. PowerCurb has been engineered to satisfy high wind and snow loads, and meets seismic categories 1-4 on low-rise and high-rise buildings. Using a low material cost, SolarFrameWorks achieves these product goals through a proprietary design that combines a lightweight polymer framing system with a skirting of membrane roofing material.
