Solvari is excited to welcome Mitch Bowman to its executive team. With 17 years of experience in the solar industry, he brings a wealth of expertise, including structuring a successful $1B IPO for FTC Solar where he was the Vice President of Business Operations. Mr. Bowman was instrumental in getting FTC Solar off the ground by securing their first major contract for 30MW of trackers worth $3.9 million and then growing the company to one of the largest solar tracker providers in the country, with annual contracts as large as 2.5GW (~$300M).

Mitch BowmanMr. Bowman’s diverse skill set spans product innovation, R&D, construction, project management, supply chain, business operations, sales, marketing, and strategic planning. He has extensive experience leading teams of engineers and cross-functional groups, managing as many as 30 direct reports. During his tenure as Senior Engineering Manager at SunEdison, the world’s largest renewable energy developer at the time, Mr. Bowman led a global innovations and design standards program that reduced costs, shortened project timelines, and improved power plant performance through world-class engineering, and system integration.

“I am thrilled with the addition of Mr. Bowman to Solvari’s Team,” says Samuel Truthseeker, CEO of Solvari. “We believe his industry knowledge and executive experience coupled with his corporate growth and IPO background will be key to our success in scaling the company to meet market demand.”

When asked about Solvari's role in the evolving solar market, Mr. Bowman remarked, “I believe a product like Solvari SR can be successful because it removes procurement and skilled labor challenges, which will help to lower the cost to deploy residential solar and unlock bottlenecks to revenue growth and profitability.” He continued to elaborate on the subject adding, “Residential solar is difficult, and an installer’s revenue and profitability suffer when multiple jobsite visits are required due to missing parts, long installation times, poor installation quality, failed inspections, commissioning issues, and labor shortages. I see Solvari’s solution as the best option to mitigate these issues and reduce installer risks so they can realize predictable income and grow their business while also reducing cost to the homeowner.”

When asked about his decision to join Solvari’s team, Mr. Bowman stated, “Motivated by environmental concerns, I have focused my career on growing businesses with advanced renewable energy solutions that can have a real impact towards accelerating our fight against climate change. Solvari has created the most innovative solution I have seen in the residential solar space in years, and I believe it can help democratize solar by making it affordable and widely available. We are behind the curve, and we need solutions like Solvari to expand solar adoption.”

Mr. Bowman will lead Solvari’s supply chain, sales, customer experience, and operations. In addition, he will provide guidance on growth strategy, strategic partnerships, and fundraising strategies.
