PVH to Supply 78MWdc for Energix to Northumberland Project

PVHardware USA (PVH USA), a leading global solar tracker manufacturer with facilities in Houston, proudly announces its collaboration with Energix Renewables for the Northumberland Solar Project in Milton, Pennsylvania. As the solar tracker supplier, PVH will provide 78MW of its state-of-the-art AxoneDuo Infinity trackers, playing a key role in powering this ambitious renewable energy venture with American-made components.

The Northumberland Project, owned and operated by Energix, represents a major milestone in PVH’s expansion within the U.S. solar market. The project is poised to generate enough electricity to power more than 15,000 homes, marking a significant contribution to the region’s clean energy transition. The collaboration with PVH will enable Energix to speed the completion of the project by taking advantage of PVH’s in-house pre-assembly process, which reduces the number of components delivered to a solar construction site by more than 65%, resulting in a more than 40% reduction in installation time for solar projects. In addition, 70% of PVH’s solar tracker components are produced in the United States including the use of U.S. manufacturer foundations, helping to meet ambitious goals for domestic manufacturing capacity.

“Our collaboration with Energix demonstrates the importance of the American domestic manufacturing supply chain, with PVH working hand in hand with Energix to ensure a long-term, successful partnership.” said Rodolfo Bitar, VP Business Development of PVH USA. “This collaboration solidifies PVH’s position as a leading solar tracker supplier in the United States and underscores our commitment to supporting large-scale renewable energy projects.”

As a recognized leader in the U.S. renewable energy sector, Energix has established a strong track record of developing and managing large-scale solar projects that contribute to a sustainable future. The Northumberland Project is Energix’s second project in Pennsylvania, following its successful completion of its 105MW Adams Project and many more in Virginia. Slated for completion by 2025, the Northumberland Solar Project will consist of approximately 170,000 solar panels and reach a full capacity of 78MWdc. This project not only strengthens Energix’s presence in Pennsylvania but also exemplifies the company’s broader strategy to expand its footprint in the U.S. market. Energix’s continued growth is fuelled by the demonstrated success of its projects, which consistently deliver on performance and environmental goals.

“It’s exciting to be part of a project that not only helps increase renewable energy capacity in Pennsylvania but also underscores Energix’s commitment to the clean energy transition in the United States. We are excited to partner with PVH on this project, and glad to find a partner that is enthusiastic as us about creating sustainable, reliable and affordable energy solutions for communities across the country.” Said Itamar Sarussi, Deputy CEO and CCO of Energix Renewables.

The Northumberland Solar Project will significantly enhance Pennsylvania’s solar capacity, contributing to the region’s renewable energy goals and reinforcing PVH’s presence as a pivotal player in the local solar industry.
