Concentrator PV systems

SolFocus will showcase its Concentrator Photovoltaic (CPV) systems, currently producing clean energy in California, Arizona, Mexico, Australia, and other high solar resource regions around the globe. The company’s CPV design utilizes high-efficiency multi-junction solar cells in combination with an advanced, reflective optical system to concentrate sunlight 650 times. The SolFocus system achieves high power production levels using durable, low-cost materials like glass and aluminum—materials that contribute to the system being over 97% recyclable. The dual-axis tracking system provides a broad shoulder of energy production from sunrise to sunset with a perfect match to peak demand. With high efficiency and volume manufacturing capacity, SolFocus CPV systems are scalable from one to 100+ MW installations.
