Switchboard with a main breaker

EPEC Solutions’ (EPEC) new product is an 800Vac UL 891 certified switchboard with a main breaker. This product allows for solar developers and EPC’s to take full advantage of new 800Vac inverter technology while remaining fully compliant with NEC code requirements. This is the newest addition to their EPEC LV SWBD family.  A family consisting of UL 891 switchboards 400A to 4000A, 480Vac through 800Vac. EPEC’s solar specific features include thermal engineering to eliminate nuisance tripping (standard gloss white paint, oversized bus, utilization of electronic trip MCCBs), direct connection with MV transformers, typically saving over 10k in installation cost, and 800Vac UL certification with molded case circuit breakers, and now ACB main breaker.
