Apex Names Scott Koziar Chief Development Officer

Apex Clean Energy announced Scott Koziar’s promotion to Chief Development Officer, a strategic appointment that advances the company’s ability to scale its development activities and capitalize on emerging opportunities across the energy landscape. In this role, Koziar will guide the origination and delivery of Apex’s utility-scale wind, solar, and battery storage projects, leveraging his proven track record to drive substantial growth in an increasingly dynamic market.

Koziar, who joined Apex in 2013, brings nearly two decades of power sector experience to the position. Throughout his tenure with the company, he has demonstrated steadfast leadership in navigating complex landscapes while overseeing key milestones in the company’s growth. He has led the successful deployment of nearly 10 gigawatts of energy projects—representing approximately $15 billion in investment across America—that are now operational or under construction.
