Weidmuller USA has introduced Basic Line Series B, cost-effective unmanaged switches ensuring high EMC compatibility, extended temperature ranges, and numerous certifications for a wide range of industrial applications. This new solution from Weidmuller supports Profinet CC-A and Ethernet/IP networks with features including Quality of Service (QoS), broadcast storm protection, and LLDP filtering. Designed for maximum efficiency, this new line of unmanaged switches is easy to install with tool-free, snap-in mounting and PUSH IN wiring. Highlights of the Basic Line Series B include 5 to 24 ports with fast Ethernet and Gigabit and SFP interfaces for fiber optics; approvals including CE, UKCA, cULus, C1D2, KCC, BSMI, IECEx, ATEX, and more; DIP Switches feature QoS configuration, broadcast storm protection, MAC frame filtering (LLDP Frame Blocking), energy efficient Ethernet IEEE 802.3az; and environmentally-friendly with plastic-free packaging in recycled cardboard.
