AttaBox Enclosures announced the expansion of its SolarShield HMI Cover lineup with the addition of two new sizes 16" x 11" and 20" x 14”. Engineered to deliver protection for Human Machine Interface (HMI) screens, the SolarShield HMI Covers are suitable for shielding equipment from harsh environmental conditions. Available in both Opaque and Clear configurations, these durable, non-metallic covers safeguard against UV exposure, dust, water, and other damaging elements. Whether for indoor or outdoor use, the SolarShield HMI Covers protect screens from environmental damage. The Opaque model prevents sun exposure, enhancing screen visibility, while the Clear model offers full transparency for easy monitoring. Now available in 10" x 8", 16" x 11", and 20" x 14" sizes, the expanded lineup ensures flexibility and compatibility with both non-metallic and metallic enclosures. Each SolarShield HMI Cover includes a stainless steel hardware kit and is padlock-ready for added security. Installation requires only common tools, making it simple and efficient. A seamless polyurethane gasket, robotically applied, ensures reliable sealing to protect equipment in even challenging environments. The new sizes of AttaBox SolarShield HMI Covers are built to withstand extreme conditions. With a UL “f1” UV exposure rating per UL 746C, cULus Listing, and compliance with UL50e, UL508A, and NEMA Type 4 and 4X standards, these covers operate in temperatures ranging from -40°F to 248°F (-40°C to 120°C), ensuring consistent performance and durability.
